The year 1992 was when Amanda Bossard began her study of marine biology in Anchorage in Alaska at the University of Alaska Pacific. Bossard began her professional career in the field of seafood commercial worker in the year 1999. Bossard began working on the F/V Sunset which was a 65' halibut schooner and was later converted into a Salmon tender, in the name of Murat Aritan who worked in commercial fishing since. Bossard got married to Aritan in 1999. The two have joined to fight for their business. Both are in the direction of preserving resources and optimizing the profits.
